SUCCESS STORY: (full story)
How One VA Helps 2,000 Agents Rise "Above The
Crowd" ...
Mark Schilling is the Information Technology
Manager for the
New Jersey Region of RE/MAX, and a very
proactive student of mine. Here is how he is able
to keep his region's agents on top of the search
engines through the clever use of a talented
Virtual Assistant.
Hello Michael,
Just wanted to drop you a
line to tell you how my Virtual Assistant covers
an important responsibility for me.
As you know, I am both the
Information Technology Manager AND the hot air
balloon pilot for the New Jersey Region of
RE/MAX. This dual responsibility keeps me away
from the office quite a bit, covering regional
events, training, and appearances with the
RE/MAX balloon. Of course mobile computing helps
me to keep in touch with the world, but my
personal schedule varies, and Internet access is
not always available while traveling. This is
where my virtual assistant becomes
indispensable.
One of my responsibilities
is to maintain the premium search engine
placement for our regional website. I use both
Overture and Google to pay for top placement of
our web address in real estate search results.
Since these services are priced by bid on a
sliding scale, it is important to check your
placement at least daily and adjust your bid
accordingly. My schedule makes it nearly
impossible to check these accounts on a regular
basis, so I have assigned this task to my
Virtual Assistant. Although it only takes a few
minutes each day, my VA is always working at her
desk, and schedules this task into her regular
work rotation. For only a few cents daily I can
assure that our regional website is driving
prospects through our listings directly to over
2,000 agents in the New Jersey region. This is
just one of the many ways that my VA helps to
keep me on track, whether I am on the road or
even "Above The Crowd."
My personal VA, Cheryl
Allin, is a member of REVA, The Premier Real
Estate Virtual Assistant Network. You can find
her and many other talented Virtual Assistants
at www.revanetwork.com.
