ePOWER TIP: (full story)
Use The Power Of Your Voice To Generate More
Online Business ...Over
the years I have reviewed a fair number of online
services that enable you to put your voice message
within your Web site and/or your e-mail. Until
now, none of them were ready for "Prime Time"
because of either cost, quality, and/or difficulty
of use. However, that has all changed because of a
new service that makes it easy as picking up the
phone.
AudioGenerator is the slickest, highest
quality, easiest to use and very affordable online
audio message service I have ever tried. In fact,
literally within minutes of signing up, I produced
this audio message:
I also used it to create the e-mail voice greeting for this month’s newsletter, and the
phone interview of Ann Mullett, featured in this
month’s
SUCCESS STORY. The great thing about
AudioGenerator is that there is no limit to the
number of messages you can create and where or how
many times you use them. And as you've just heard,
they are fast-loading and can include music as
well. Also, in addition to putting this on your
Website (or each of your listing pages!) you can
include them in your e-mail as well. All of your
audio files are stored on AudioGenerator’s
servers, which means you won’t slow your own Website down with the burden of delivering streamed
audio.
Creating a voice message can be as easy as
leaving a voicemail. Or, if you want to get fancy,
you can record your voice, mix in music, and then
upload the file as an MP3 (a process I used to
create the Coach N' Click™ Tip message above).

If you plan on mixing and uploading your own
MP3s, here is a suggested list of equipment and
software you will need and the overall process:
Equipment & Software
-
Reasonably fast computer with lots of memory
and hard disk space
-
High-end digital Soundblaster™ (or
compatible) sound board
-
High-quality condenser microphone
-
Multi-channel audio software like Adobe
Audition or Cool Edit Pro
-
Access to high-quality sound clips for
lead-in music (e.g.
http://www.sounddogs.com)
Process
-
Write your script and practice it! Also, make
sure your message has value for your intended
audience. Just hearing the sound of your voice
isn’t going to cut it –you need to deliver real
value if you expect anyone to listen.
-
Set your record sample at
a rate of at least
44.1khz mono 32bit.
-
Record your voice reading the script (with
some personality —please :o). NOTE: If you don’t
have the voice talent for this, find someone who
does.
-
Run a noise filter routine on your voice
track to make it as clear as possible and to
remove any clicks and pops.
-
Using separate tracks, mix in several seconds
of appropriate lead-in and exit music.
-
Normalize the volume for all tracks in the
mix.
-
Save the raw mix on your hard drive in case
you need to edit it later.
-
Save a version of the mix as an MP3 with
settings at 24kbps, 22.05khz, CBR (Constant Bit
Rate), and Mono.
-
Go to the AudioGenerator site to upload your
saved MP3 file.
-
Use the AudioGenerator “Publish” feature to
create the link code for inserting your audio
message into your Web pages or e-mail.
The above can seem a bit intimidating if you
don’t have previous experience. If this is the
case, then I suggest you hire a pro (either a
Virtual Assistant or Virtual Consultant) to handle
the details for you.

If you have a great speaking voice this service
will open a whole new world. And if you don't,
hire a VA who does to leave the messages for you.
The spoken word is one of the most powerful
communication mediums we have available to us. And
AudioGenerator makes it easy to get our verbal
message out to thousands. Just remember to make
sure you have something worthwhile to say!
