How To Find Just About Anything Within Outlook ...

Have you ever sent an e-mail to someone and then tried to find it later. Or worse, try to find all messages to or from a specific person when you may have stored them in various different folders? If you are like me and use folders extensively to organize your messaging, it may seem like an impossible task. Not with Outlook however, because it only takes one click of the mouse.

My dad used to tell me that if you are smart enough to get yourself into a jam, you should be smart enough to get out. Apparently this holds true for some software too. Outlook (2000 or later) is such a powerful e-mail program, that it is easy to feel that your messages are lost among all the folders you set up –you know, the ones you originally set up in the first place to help you find things!

Not to worry because in this month's "Ask Mr. Internet!" I demonstrate how Outlook is smart enough to have a special, but not so well known, feature that will find everything, including e-mail messages, appointments, journal entries, etc. associated with any specific contact in your database.

If you are an avid Outlook user you are going to absolutely love discovering this powerful secret of finding just about anything with a simple click of the mouse (and I’ve included a very cool step-by-step animated demo tutorial to show you exactly how to do it!)
