Motor City REALTORS® Find Secret To High-Octane Results ...

There is a secret. It is the one that allows some sales associates to do ten times the business with less effort than everyone else. It’s the same secret I shared with about 700 agents during a keynote in Detroit for a RealComp II Ltd conference. It’s the one I’m about to share with you.

I asked that large and rather energetic audience what was stopping them from having an absolutely fabulous career, one where they do only what they truly love to do, make a great living doing it, and having plenty of free time to enjoy their success. They rapid-fire shouted out all the reasons why they were “stopped”: not enough time, don’t know how, can’t afford help, etc. After venting about this for awhile and exhausting all the excuses why they have yet to achieve that fabulous career, they were finally ready to learn the secret.

The Traditional Path To Success Often Leads To Frustration

Knowing “what to do” in order to be successful is just the first step. Fortunately, thanks to thousands of available seminars, workshops, books, tapes, etc., it is also very easy to find out. However, it is the process of putting this knowledge to profitable use that causes most of the problems.

You see, most people will approach the path to success in the following way (see figure below).

Traditional Path To Success

While it does take some time to “know what to do,” it takes significantly more time to learn “how to do it” and even more time still for “getting it done.” All that extra effort robs you of productive time doing what you do best. In addition you will find yourself spending valuable time and effort learning things that you may not particularly find enjoyable —and life is way to short for that.

Ignoring the implementation of the “what to do” isn’t going to help you either. You work in a highly competitive, dynamic environment that requires staying on top of all the latest tools and technologies. Sounds like a “catch-22” doesn’t it? Well, there is a way out of this –one that gives you full advantage of technology’s power and where you don’t have to do the work yourself.

The Secret Revealed

The secret is to “virtually outsource” the last two parts of the above path to success. By having expert Virtual Assistants handle the implementation phases, you no longer have to worry about “how to do it” or “getting it done.” And, there is no impact on your current infrastructure since VAs don't require you to provide them office space or equipment. In essence, you create a “bridge” between knowing what to do and getting it done (see figure below).

Virtual Outsourcing Bridge To Success

Keep this in mind: when you do things within your business that are not your core competency you effectively are paying top dollar for amateur’s work. Agents who are ten-times more successful than most of the rest aren’t ten-times smarter, they are just smart enough to know what they should be focusing on and what needs to be outsourced.

This was a major “AHA!” to the folks in Detroit. Hopefully it will have the same affect on you.
