Three Days In MegaProducerville ...

What would you do if you were able to participate in an advanced three day Internet marketing workshop with one of the world’s top Coldwell Banker agents, the world’s #1 RE/MAX agent and a host of other mega producers? Chances are you would learn a whole heck of a lot! That is exactly what happened and so much more.

I just finished leading such a group in Dallas, TX with the help of Coach Ken, his staff, and an incredible group of real estate Virtual Assistant specialists which we flew in from all over North America. This was an extraordinary event where all attendees were stretched into new profit-making possibilities. Participants included Jane Fairweather, one of the top Coldwell Banker agents in the world, Casey Margenau, the #1 RE/MAX agent in the world, Judy McCutchin, one of the most successful online agents in real estate and many others.

What made this a particularly interesting group is that almost all of them are coaching clients of Ken Goodfellow a.k.a “Coach Ken,” real estate coach to more #1 in-the-world producers than any other coach or organization out there. The objectives of this three day workshop was to provide the participants with the tools, strategies, and knowledge to:

  • Dramatically increase the quantity and quality of online leads;
  • Dramatically increase the conversion rate of these leads into transactions;
  • Substantially increase overall net income while reducing the number of hours worked through the use of Virtual Assistants.

We accomplished the above and much more through the unique way the workshop was structured. For example...

DAY 1

Covered a broad range of topics including:

  • How to brainstorm using “bubble charts” (this was a real “aha” for many of the attendees who had never heard of this very powerful creativity-enhancing tool).
  • Principles of successful online marketing. Every participant was required to pick an online target market and develop high-value content for that market, develop a “Unique Positioning Statement” (UPS) and come up with branding ideas as part of an overall exit strategy for their business.
  • Extensive coverage of all areas of e-mail marketing
  • Extensive coverage of all areas of using Virtual Assistants and Virtual Consultants to support their business. (We had many VAs onsite to help the attendees implement what they were learning.)
  • And of course, homework for that evening!

DAY 2

If the attendees thought Day 1 was intense, it was nothing compared to the second day. This is because we spent nearly 10 hours on nothing but developing and planning the structure, content and design issues of their own highly targeted Website. This was the beginning phase of having a nearly completed Website Specification Outline that they would then hand over to a Web developer –an extraordinarily powerful tool. There were many focused and lengthy brainstorming sessions during the entire day. And, the Coach Ken folks and the onsite VAs all pitched in to help the participants come up with awesome ideas.

This group was so charged up at the end of this exhausting day because they all saw how this very powerful and structured site planning process would result in a killer, highly targeted Website that would put them at the top of the hill in their chosen market.

Lots of creative ideas were developed and shared by everyone –it was quite inspiring to watch! However, even after all that they still had homework to look forward to that evening (I’m a cruel taskmaster :o)!)

DAY 3

Within the first two hours in the morning of this last day, everyone discovered how they could immediately send loads of targeted traffic to their newly planned Website. This was a mind blower for most of them since they originally thought it was a time consuming, complex process (which it isn’t if you know how to do it).

The remaining part of the day was finishing up their Website Specification Outline and completing an Action Planner where they identify all the new things they want done, order of priority, and by whom (which in many cases was a VA).

This was clearly the best (and most challenging) 3-Day Advanced Marketing Workshop I have ever had the privilege of leading. Everyone was stretched, including me. And once stretched, your horizons never retreat back.

What made this event so unique from the many I’ve done before is the attendees' fierce dedication to learning and implementation, the assistance and support by Coach Ken and his staff (he knows these people better than anyone on the planet, which came in handy many times during the entire workshop, especially as some people became frustrated with the new material), and the incredibly talented VAs who became “real” and worked onsite for 3 days to make a huge difference in the careers and lives of all those who participated.

It truly was three days in MegaProducerville. Who knows, maybe someone will write a song about it!
