| PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Design the look and feel for a series of 10 postcards targeted toward meeting planners. The theme is along the line of David Letterman's Top 10 List —with tongue firmly planted in cheek (I would provide the copy). Specifically, I wanted a design that would really stand out in the minds of the meeting planner recipients. A "look & feel" that was professional yet innovative and graphically flexible enough to adapt to all the Top 10 Reasons that had been laid out. |

This designer's first
attempt at the postcard series "look & feel" just didn't resonate with
me. I asked him to be more innovative and "arresting" with his next design and to include a graphic that would relate to the #10 reason theme. CLICK HERE to see his second design idea... |

While this has a
different look it still didn't have the feel I was hoping to achieve.
Also, there still was no graphic that was related to the #10 reason
theme. At this point I'm beginning to doubt if this designer's style is what I'm looking for. I decided to give him one more chance. CLICK HERE to see his third design idea... |

Even though there was an
attempt to graphically address the #10 reason theme, this design was
still too traditional for my tastes and the purpose of the postcard
campaign. I politely thanked the designer for his efforts and informed him that it was not working out. NOTE: be sure to never burn bridges with your virtual help when parting company. This is the point I decided to find another designer... |
