How One Top Producer Does MORE With A Lot LESS ...

AJ Fischer, a 21 year veteran of the real estate industry and top producer in Naples, Florida, first heard about Virtual Assistance when I keynoted during a mega-producer event in Ft. Lauderdale. Here’s how she was able to take that knowledge and save many tens of thousands of dollars of onsite staffing expense in less than 5 months.

Hi Michael,

Time for an update on my virtual team! Although I was sold quickly on the concept of bringing VAs onto my team, I never imagined it would make such a difference in such a short time.

After the Coach Ken conference in August, I realized I had so many wonderful ideas that would never be implemented because I couldn’t do it all myself. That motivated me to act on your words, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results.

Having a VA takes so much stress off my shoulders. I can email an idea to my VA, and with vision and creativity, that idea becomes reality in a timely manner. I love the flexibility – I may come into the office and find a completed project waiting for me, with my VA having worked her magic overnight.

My staff is down 1.5 positions as I hand over more tasks to my VA. Reducing the onsite staff positions not only affects the bottom salary line, but reduces all the related employee costs like medical insurance for staff.

My VAs primarily handle marketing, listings and website work for me, and I find the work is done better, faster, and with more creativity. My VA takes a listing through the entire process, handling internet sites, creating brochures etc, and the turn around time is about 24 hours. The next area I’m looking at is closings, and I anticipate that my costs will be 50% of what I have been spending when this area is being handled virtually.

Virtual Assistants are perfect for top agents who want to spend less money and work less hours. As an agent you need to look at the best ways to utilize staff. See what they can do, look at the projects and what you’re trying to create. Are you trying to save time, money, positions? The best use of VAs needs to be a plan and not just a fix. Make it part of your business plan and build your goals based on the increased productivity you’ll realize with a VA.

Get ready before you even have your VA. Think of it as hiring another team member and know that you need to invest time in giving the VA what she needs to do the job. VAs come highly trained and you will be amazed at how quickly she’ll be handling things for you.

Thanks again for bringing me an idea that has made such a difference to me and my team!
