Walking The Talk Brings Immediate Payoff! ...
Less than two months ago, Richard Bolen of the
Bolen & Bolen Team
at McCall Realty, Inc. in Lake Tahoe, had never
even heard of Mr. Internet®. Now a short time
later he walks the talk like a pro. Here’s how
this quick thinking agent recognized a solution
to a very big problem and took decisive action
without a second thought.
Michael,
Talk about being in the
right place at the right time! When I was
encouraged by someone at our agency to
attend a seminar and listen to someone
calling himself Mr. Internet®, I wasn’t sure
what to expect. I had taken the e-PRO course
and I realized many of the suggestions were
necessary – but I was already so busy I
couldn’t see straight, and definitely not in
a place where I could incorporate anything
new. I expected to hear more of the same
from the man who created the original e-PRO
class.
But what I heard
instead was a message that instantly changed
the way I viewed my business. As I scanned
through the materials while I waited for the
seminar to begin, I came across the term
Virtual Assistants on page 10 and knew I was
getting ready to hear about the solution I
had been seeking for such a long time.
Over the past year I’ve
had four assistants, none of whom were
trained for this kind of business. There are
tremendous skills and expertise from many
different directions necessary to support
our business. These include administrative,
sales, keen computer skills, database
management, knowledge of graphic design
software, photography and retouching,
internet and website management etc. There’s
a very profound learning curve, and
expecting to find someone who has the
technical expertise to set up all the
systems needed is just not realistic. In
short, the solutions I’ve tried have been
dreadful! Working with a team of specialists
is the answer.
All of the materials

program are great, but it’s the ePOWER! PRO
book that gets religion. We’re pulling out
the action items at the end of each chapter,
splitting up the tasks and we are going to
assault it…with eager vigor!
I’ve hired one VA to do
monthly database maintenance and coordinate
website upgrades with a custom design team.
A second will handle our transaction
coordination – online of course! And we’ll
work with a third VA who will primarily
handle marketing and listing coordination.
When we’re ready, the next step will be to
hire a VA for our drip marketing.
I haven’t been this
excited in a long time about something,
because I can see the end result very
clearly. I love the fact that VAs are self
starters and can take care of tasks without
a lot of conversation.
The biggest difference
for me so soon into this arrangement is a
huge mental relief in finding someone to
handle the critical tasks, and knowing I
have a support team to implement the steps I
know I need to take in my business.
What’s most important
to me at the end of the day is that everyone
on the team feels good about what we’ve
done. They can point to our website or
marketing materials and say this is an
example of my work, and be proud of it.
