Agents Sales Volume More Than Doubles In Less
Than 12 Months ...
Kathy and Don Vallee of
RE/MAX All Executives in Tucson started off with a
website, but they had no target market, and the website
wasn't producing the caliber of leads they needed. After
Kathy learned that "less is more" through targeted
marketing, she and Don implemented savvy website
strategies and watched their sales grow from $12 million
to $30 million in less than a year. Here's their story.
Dear Michael,
When we first heard you
speak at a RE/MAX convention, what intrigued
us most was the idea of targeting a specific
real estate market. There is so much
information when you first get started in
real estate, and there's so much to learn.
It's hard to decide who you're going to work
with - to find out what type of client
you're suited to work with - and who's
suitable for you. And we hadn't even thought
about targeting a specific group.
When I learned about
your 10 week program that would walk me step
by step through the process of creating a
plan for our business and deciding on a
target market, I couldn't wait, and signed
up immediately.
Before the program, we
had been in business for three years and had
a website, but it was not bringing us the
caliber of leads that we wanted. We were
doing about $10-12 million in volume, and
were using tools like Overture and Google
pay per click ads. But they were expensive
at about $3-4 per click and I knew there had
to be a better way. What we learned from you
was the answer. The leads we are getting now
are a quantum leap from what we had before!
It took less than a year to implement the
necessary changes to create a website that
focused on our target market, and see our
sales volume double to $25-30 million.
One thing I love is
that this is an ongoing program that
nurtures you. Everything is broken down into
steps, so we could focus on something like
our website home page - then move ahead when
we were ready and focus on the next area.
The hardest part for us
was deciding where we wanted to focus our
business. But once we implemented this, it
became very easy. After looking at our
experience in business, and our combined
talents, we decided to focus on busy
professionals and the luxury home market.
Our website reflects this, and people who
come to the website tend to spend time
there, and see us as friendly professionals
who understand their needs. They learn to
trust us as "Real People Representing Real
Estate." The website offers what they need,
with lots of photos and virtual tours for
our listings, and a wealth of information
about the Tucson area.
It's been two years
since I went through the program, and I love
being able to go back and explore new
material that's been added. This allows us
to keep up to date on the latest strategies
and tools to implement in the business.
We've also outsourced projects for copywriting and graphic design with great
success, and are using Virtual Assistants to
manage leads and drip marketing.

catapult our business to the next level. It
would have taken years for us to figure this
